资源简介:
This record contains the collected economic data from the dissertation “Design of Delamination- and Impact-Resistant Fibre Reinforced Composites based on Customized 3D Multilayer Fabrics" by Philipp Maria Huber, RWTH Aachen University, date of oral examination 31.10.2024. 3DWICs have the potential to reduce costs in the manufacturing process. In order to evaluate this potential, a suitable methodology has been developed to determine the process costs for the production of conventional 2D and innovative 3D woven FRPs. To achieve this, the manufacturing processes are first described and analysed. Empirical data is then collected as part of a case study. The cost drivers of the individual process steps are identified with the help of a document analysis and expert interviews. Based on this, process costs are modelled for both reference processes in order to enable a comparison of costs and profitability. In the final step, the influence of important parameters is analysed as part of a sensitivity analysis. The work was supervised as a joint master's thesis by the Chair of Controlling and the Institute für Textiltechnik of RWTH Aachen University. The record contains the conducted structured interviews with eight companies along the process chain for 3D-woven composites as well as the interview guideline. In addition, the record contains an interview protocol with a company that is developing a propulsion for an UAM. On this basis, a representative load case for a demonstrator and its requirements for the technical and economic evaluation were determined.
