资源简介:
This dataset supports a research study that investigates the sustainable strength optimization of concrete using polyvinyl alcohol (PVA)-treated palm kernel shell (PKS) as partial coarse aggregate and laterite as partial fine aggregate. The experimental research aims to assess the mechanical and physical properties—specifically compressive strength, tensile splitting strength, flexural strength, density, and workability—of the modified concrete mixes across different curing durations (7, 28, 60, and 90 days). Data were obtained through laboratory testing using standardized procedures, with mixes prepared at varying replacement levels (10% to 30%) for both PKS and laterite. The dataset compares treated and untreated samples and was generated to evaluate the performance enhancement provided by PVA treatment, contributing to the development of sustainable, lightweight, and structurally viable construction materials.
