VpsA-PrrA-VpsB encoding locus in field isolates of T. phagedenis.. Tph_field

In this study we characterized a genetic locus in T. phagedenis that contains coding regions for three antigenic proteins, PrrA, VpsA, and VpsB. This locus has been studied in 13 different isolates/strains. Genome sequence of V1 is available publicly, 12 additional isolates V2, T 413, T 551B, T 603, T 657. T 695, T 863, T 1089, T 1126. T 1138, T 1237, T 2378 are sequenced for further comparative analysis.
