To understand the pathological mechanisms of alkali burn, mouse corneal epithelium was exposed to 1M NaOH for 30s . Corneas were processed for scRNA-seq using 10X genomics and data was analyzed using R with a Seurat package. Methods:We conducted scRNA-seq on ocular anterior segmental tissue from 1 uninjured wild-type and 1 NaOH injured wild type mice, using a 10X Gemomics pipeline. Cell populations were distinguished byUMAP embedding. Seurat analysis was conducted to compare gene expression profiles between these two groups of mice.
