Global Peatland Database

Global Peatland Database (GPD)是一个由国际泥炭地保护组织(IMCG)发起并维护的全球泥炭地数据库，位于Greifswald泥炭地中心。该数据库整合了全球泥炭地和有机土壤的位置、范围和排水状况数据，包含地图、报告、观察和图片等资料。GPD定期发布综合分析，包括泥炭地状况和排放的全球概览，为气候变化缓解、生物多样性保护和可持续土地利用规划提供基于科学的政策相关信息。Global Peatland Database (GPD) is a global peatland database initiated and maintained by the International Mire Conservation Group (IMCG), hosted at the Peatland Centre in Greifswald. This database integrates global data on the location, extent and drainage status of peatlands and organic soils, and includes materials such as maps, reports, observations and images. GPD regularly releases comprehensive analyses, including global overviews of peatland conditions and emissions, providing science-based policy-relevant information for climate change mitigation, biodiversity conservation and sustainable land use planning.
