NRS-13066 | Quinquennial valuations of the friendly societies of New South Wales

These two volumes consist respectively of the third quinquennial valuation as at 31 December 1914, and the fourth quinquennial valuation as at 31 December 1919. Each volume contains, firstly, the printed report of valuations for all friendly societies. This is followed by typescript copies of valuations of individual societies by the Registrar of Friendly Societies, with, occasionally, copies of letters sent to societies concerning their financial position. There is a manuscript index to these valuations in the front of each volume. In addition, the 1919 volume contains various tables of mortality rates and sickness rates for each society for the 1914-18 period.
