Summer supraglacial lakes (SLs) in the Greenland Ice sheet are extracted from Landsat 8 and Sentinel-2 images. Winter buried lakes are mapped on Sentinel-1 images within the dilated summer SLs based on a self-adaptive thresholding algorithm using histogram-based morphological edge detectors.
