资源简介:
Prostate cancer (PCa) is one of the most common malignant tumors in the world, which has the characteristics of high incidence, poor prognosis, and high mortality. Among them, enhancer RNA plays an important role in the occurrence and development of PCa. In this study, eRNA data and clinical prognosis information of PCa were obtained from The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA) database. This study used PreSTIGE to predict the tissue-specific enhancer-derived RNAs, screened eRNA and its predicted target genes (correlation coefficient r > 0.4, P < 0.001) that are significantly associated with overall survival (log-rank test, P < 0.05) and the predicted target genes, then identified 12 key eRNAs candidates. Finally, the study found that PARGP1 is the most clinically relevant eRNA. PARGP1 is an effective supplementary method to distinguish the patients with prostate disease, Prostate-specific antigen (PSA) 0 ng/ml~4 ng/ml and 4 ng/ml ~10 ng/ml, among which herpes simplex virus-1 infection is the most significant biological process. Besides, PARGP1 is also related to the biochemical recurrence status of patients with prostate cancer, which is helpful to the clinical diagnosis and prognosis of patients with prostate cancer.
