资源简介:
Since 1997 the widespread planting of genetically engineered cotton producing the Cry1Ac toxin has led to significantly reduced pesticide applications and consequently numbers of The widespread planting of genetically engineered cotton producing the Cry1Ac toxin greatly reduced the consumption of insecticide in the cotton field since 1997, leading to the resurgence of green mirid bug (GMB), Apolygus lucorum (Meyer-Dür) have increased. The GMB now has replacing replacd of the cotton bollworm Helicoverpa armigera (Hübner) to become the major pest in transgenic Bt cotton field and cause great damageare most damaging to cotton yield. Disproportionately, only a few works on molecular aspects of on GMB have been reported. The transcriptome and gene expression data provide comprehensive and global gene resources of GMB. This transcriptome would promote our understanding of the molecular mechanisms of various underlying biological characteristics, including development, molting, digesting system digestive system and immunity in GMB. Therefore, these findings could help elucidate the intrinsic factors of the GMB resurgence, offering novel pest management targets for future transgenic cotton breeding.
