Whole Genome Sequencing of Multidrug-Resistant Salmonella Isolates in Northern Gyeonggi Province, Korea

This project aims to investigate the genetic characteristics of multidrug-resistant Salmonella enterica strains isolated from diarrheal patients in northern Gyeonggi Province, Republic of Korea, between 2015 and 2022. Whole genome sequencing (WGS) was performed using the Illumina platform. The data will be used to identify antimicrobial resistance genes, plasmid replicon types, and to study phylogenetic relationships among the isolates.
