Geographic Layer Listing the Sections Listed in the ICRP 71. The objectives of setting up such a plan are to identify itineraries of tourist interest and to preserve their public nature, to list, protect and register the paths in the public domain at departmental level while retaining the notion of preserving and safeguarding the rural heritage, but also to promote the discovery, development and restoration of paths unknown to the public and to develop green tourism and all types of hiking (equestrian, hiking, mountain biking, mountain biking, etc.) by ensuring the continuity of a coherent network of routes throughout the territory.

In Saône-et-Loire, on the decision of the Departmental Assembly, only the following can currently be registered in the PDIPR:

* rural and similar roads (communal areas and parcels in the private domain of local authorities),

* forest pathways,

* public roads (national, departmental, communal) in the public domain of the State, the Department and the Commune.

The update of the PDIPR is adopted by the Departmental Assembly once a year.
