Adaptive_CBGTpy

This dataset contains simulation data and demo notebooks for computational modeling of adaptive inhibitory control in cortico–basal ganglia–thalamic (CBGT) circuits. The simulations were generated using an extended version of the CBGTPy framework (Clapp et al., 2025, PLOS ONE) incorporating dopamine-dependent corticostriatal plasticity and transient state-dependent control mechanisms (https://github.com/giossic/Adaptive_CBGTPy). The repository includes simulation outputs and scripts required to reproduce analyses of adaptive regulation of inhibitory control in a stop-signal task paradigm. The goal of this project is to investigate which circuit mechanisms support the modulation of response vigor and behavioral adjustments such as post-error slowing following inhibitory failures, in the context of an adaptive timing stop-signal task.
