Non-long-range ordered magnetic state known as spin liquids are of paramount importance in both fundamental and applied science. A classical state of this kind was predicted for the Ising antiferromagnetic triangular model but such material is still rare to date. Although the recent discovered rare-earth magnet REMgGaO4 (RE: Rare Earth) provides a new opportunity to examine the exotic phenomenon, the nonmagnetic Mg-Ga site disorder has an adverse effect on the identification of deconfined spinon excitations from the intrinsic sample synthesis issues. Recently, the triangular-lattice rare-earth-based materials NaRESe2 naturally removed the issue of Ga/Mg site-mixing disorder in REMgGaO4, which will make us better understand the observed spin-excitation continuum in NaRESe2. A representative material NaErSe2 is an ideal platform for the research of quantum spin liquids and its promising applications. Here, we intend to study such magnetic fluctuations by using the inelastic neutron scattering technique. The outcome will help us better explore the magnetic properties of quantum spin liquid candidate NaErSe2.
