This dataset contains internal wave energy flux estimates in the Southern Ocean derived from the MITgcm LLC4320 global ocean simulation. It supports the reproducibility of figures presented in a manuscript submitted to JGR: Oceans. The dataset includes: Internal wave energy flux and near-inertial wind work at an example site in the Tasman Sea Time-mean internal wave energy fluxes at 35°S, 45°S, 55°S, and 65°S, and its contribution from semidiurnal, near-inertial, and continuum band Depth-integrated semidiurnal and near-inertial internal wave energy fluxes at 35°S, 45°S, 55°S, and 65°S Zonally cumulative depth-integrated semidiurnal and near-inertial energy fluxes at 35°S, 45°S, 55°S, and 65°S Near-inertial wind work poleward of 35°S Data are provided in NetCDF format.
