Excalibur

This is my interpretation of Excalibur, King Arthur's legendary sword. It's a mix of multiple versions of the legend as some stories say that the sword was stuck in an anvil while others say that it was stuck in stone and so I decided to do both. I really like how the textures came out, especially the rust effect on the anvil. On the blade of the sword, the Anglo Saxon runes say 'Take me up' and 'Cast me away' which is what was said to have been written on the blade. On the anvil it states 'Whoso pulleth out this sword of this stone and anvil is right wise king, born of England.'
