ACS Earnings by Occupation by Sex
收藏资源简介:
Overview This feature service provides American Community Survey earnings estimates by occupation and sex for U.S. geographies. It brings together statewide, countywide, and census tract level feature layers that summarize median earnings for civilian workers and a broad set of occupational groups, along with related margin of error and calculated female-to-male earnings ratio fields. Feature Layers State: State polygons with state identifiers, land and water area, median earnings for total, male, and female full-time year-round workers, occupation-specific earnings fields for men and women, and calculated fields showing female earnings as a percentage of male earnings by occupation. County: County polygons with county and state names, geographic identifiers, land and water area, and the same earnings measures and gender pay comparison fields at county scale. Tract: Census tract polygons with tract, state, and county names, geographic identifiers, land and water area, and the same earnings measures and gender pay comparison fields at tract scale. Geographic Coverage The service covers the United States and Puerto Rico at multiple administrative levels, supporting comparison of earnings patterns across states, counties, and census tracts. Use Cases Compare earnings levels across occupational groups and geographies. Analyze gender earnings patterns and pay equity by occupation. Support demographic, workforce, and labor market mapping and reporting. Create thematic maps of occupational earnings and female-to-male earnings ratios. Data Notes The layers are structured from American Community Survey estimates and include margins of error for many values, making the service well suited for statistical comparison and visualization in GIS applications.
