Purpose and Context

The original use case for this database was to support Optimism Voters in RetroFunding 3 (RetroPGF3) in their allocation process. Optimism RetroPGF (Retroactive Public Goods Funding) is an innovative funding experiment that Optimism is piloting to fund contributions that generate positive impact to their ecosystem. This approach aims to reward projects and initiatives that have already demonstrated value rather than funding based solely on future promises.
