Dry Fish Dataset

It is collection of 8290 high quality images of dry or dried fish of five most popular categories. Each species is stored in separate folder. Each species has two sub folders which consists of single and bulk images of that category.
Categories include Prawns (Shrimp), Small Anchovi (Tingali), Golden Anchovi (Mandeli), Mackerel (Bangada) and Bombay Duck (Bombil).
Captured using mobile phones for real-world authenticity.
Ideal for Machine Learning, Animal Science, and Food Science.
This dataset can be use for training AI models to recognize, automatic sorting and grading different types of dried fish based on appearance. Also, for developing food recognition apps that can identify dried fish dishes in images.
