This series comprises volumes recording information of patients at the Melbourne Convalescent Home for Women (VA 5292). The types of patient information recorded varies from volume to volume, but most include dates of admission and discharge, name, age, address, state or country of birth, nationality, religion, residential district, hospital from where admitted, disease or condition, length of stay, remarks concerning the patient’s condition, by whom the patient was recommended, means of payment and patient outcomes. Receipts and some financial information for the period of 1937-1941 is also recorded.
