RNA sequencing in Lnc2088 knockdown of shrimp hepatopancreas

LncRNA is a large noncoding class that plays a regulatory role in gene expression. In this study, we identified putative lncRNAs involved in Vibrio parahaemolyticus infection in Litopenaeus vannamei. One of the candidate lncRNA, lnc2088, has potential role in the control of V. parahaemolyticus infection after investigation by RNAi. In addition, lnc2088-responsive genes were identified using RNA sequencing with lnc2088 knockdown and control samples.
