This de novo assembly of the genome of a male African individual, Human HapMap individual NA18507, was created from the SRA reads of BioProject PRJNA29429. A comparison of the Asian YH1 assembly, the African BGIAF assembly, and the reference genome assembly resulted in the identification of novel sequence data not represented in the reference assembly. This assembly, named BGIAF, has the project accession DAAB000000000. This version of the project (01) has the accession number DAAB010000000, and consists of sequences DAAB010000001-DAAB015313377.
