The fungal communities in different gastrointestinal tract compartments in Mongolian horses Metagenome

This study was designed to provide a detailed fungal communities profile of the Mongolian horses gastrointestinal tract, including samples collected from the lumen of the stomach, jejunum, ileum, cecum, ventral colon and dorsal colon.We characterized the fungal communities composition of the different parts of the Mongolian horse GIT using high throughput sequencing for the first time.
