Global Landscapes Sample

Global Landscapes Sample is a global, multiresolution sampling frame based on the ISEA3H discrete global grid implemented in dggridR. For each sampled level-12 cell, it identifies the level-14 and level-16 cells containing the level-12 centroid. These data are intended to provide a consistent, computationally manageable spatial sample for integrating and comparing global landscape datasets at fine resolution. Version 1.0 contains 1,402,265 rows at each level and includes WGS 84 GeoParquet polygons for levels 12, 14, and 16; a Parquet crosswalk linking cells across resolutions; an auxiliary table of centroid-sampled geographic, ecological, and human-use attributes; and the associated R source code and example analysis.
