Digital gene expression analysis by Ht-SuperSAGE (Matsumura et al. 2011. High-Throughput SuperSAGE. Methods Mol Biol.) was carried out to compare gene expression between wild type and mutant cell lines of the green algae Dunaliella tertiolecta under different light levels. Novel cell lines were generated using chemical mutagenesis and isolated using a high-throughput selection protocol. The gene expression of two selected lines with reduced chlorophyll content was compared to the wild type in triplicates under low, medium and high light. The raw data files for this series are multiplexed. They were provided to the submitter in this form. Sample demultiplexing was done by Iwate Biotechnology Research Centre (Kitakami, Iwate, Japan) using custom scripts. The file "Sample_metadata.xls" available at the foot of this record includes the individual sample IDs and metadata. The processed data file includes count data for sequences.
