The Istituto Nazionale Di Geofisica Seismic Network Databank (ISND),
maintained by Istituto Nazionale Di Geofisica provides data and
information collected by the Italian Sememetered Seismic Network
(ITSN). The databank is accessible via Internet, DecNet or Pacetnet
System Interface.

The databank provides a menudriven interface to allow access to the
ITSN data. The ITSN is composed of 80 seismic stations throughout
Northern and Southern Italy, Sicily, Corsica and Sardinia. Data on
the Network is collected with several seismometers with a period of 1
Hz. The network is connected via telephone lines and radio relay
systems developed, in part, by the U.S. Geological Survey. Data are
checked daily and eventually corrected for seismic phase selection.
New data are made available in the databank within a week of being
recieved. Parametric information, digital recordings, seismic arrival
times and associated digital waveforms recorded over the last month
are available.
