Other title: The title Irshad al-Talibin is given in the preface, but only occurs in a few of the manuscripts and may be spurious. Incipit: Ba'd-i hamd u sipas mar hadrat Izad muta'al (Other MSS read thanay for sipas.) Second front flyleaf: Copied for my late friend Lt Ross [and date of copying]. The hand does not seem to be that of David Price. Fourth front flyleaf: three impressions of a small elongated octagonal seal of David Price with his name in Persian, dated 1210. Folio 1a: Signature of David Price. Two moralising couplets in Persian. Penultimate back flyleaf, recto: two more impressions of Price's seal. Red leather Indian binding with flap and stamped and painted decoration. Loose inside the manuscript are two pages of notes on Indian historical subjects, in Price's hand. No use of red ink.
