Data for: Grasslands hidden choreography: fine-scale spatial reorganisation precedes diversity loss in response to anthropogenic nutrient enrichment in a Mediterranean grassland (southern Spain)

This repository contains the raw ecological data supporting the findings of the manuscript "Grasslands hidden choreography: fine-scale spatial reorganisation precedes diversity loss in response to anthropogenic nutrient enrichment in a Mediterranean grassland (southern Spain)". The dataset documents the temporal dynamics of a Mediterranean grassland plant community under anthropogenic nutrient enrichment.
Study Site & Experimental Design: The study was conducted at La Algaida (Bahía de Cádiz Natural Park, southern Spain). The experiment follows the DRAGNet protocol.
Design: 6 permanent 1 m × 1 m plots (3 Control, 3 Fertilised with NPK+μ).Resolution: Each plot was subdivided into 100 contiguous 10 cm × 10 cm subplots.Sampling: Spatially explicit sampling was conducted in 50 pre-selected subplots per plot.Timeline: Sampling was conducted annually from 2020 (Y0, Baseline) to 2025 (Y5). Nutrient addition commenced in 2021 (Y1).
