Length of Stay Colon Cancer

The data set comes from the University of Medicine and Pharmacy of Craiova, Romania, and concerns the hospitalization period of 368 patients diagnosed with colorectal cancer that underwent surgery between 2012 and 2014. It contains 8 attributes, namely socio-demographic variables (age, sex) and clinical information (operation type, tumor topography, stage, tumor parameter (T), adenopathy parameter (N) and metastases (M)).
The independent variable -- the hospitalization period -- is split into three intervals: 1-7 days -- short stay (177 cases), 8-14 days -- medium stay (96 cases), over 14 days -- long stay (95 cases).
