Dissolved methane concentrations recorded at cold seeps on the Central Chilean Margin

This dataset consists of dissolved methane measurements made at cold seep sites along the central Chilean Margin as part of research cruise FKt241011 aboard <i>R/V Falkor(too)</i>. Measurements were made using the Sensor for Aqueous Gases in the Environment (SAGE), which was developed by the Chemical Sensors Lab at WHOI (Kapit and Michel, 2021; Kapit et al., 2024). SAGE was deployed on ROV <i>SuBastian</i> for all dives, and the latitude, longitude, depth, and altitude information provided with each datafile is taken from the ROV sprint navigation records. Methane was measured in µatm and converted to nM following Wiesenburg & Guinasso (1979) using temperature and pressure data from the CTD on board ROV <i>SuBastian</i>.
