Luminescence Anisotropy of a Round Jet at Re 12000 and 14400

The repository contains data for measurements of luminescence anisotropy
in a turbulent round jet.

Details on the experiments can be found in the doctoral thesis

Both Reynolds number experiments are independent. Thus, the noflow images
are available for both experiments.

Nomenclature
The nomenclature of the files is defined by

Reynolds number (re12000 and re14400),

flow condition(flow and noflow), and

laser polarization orientation (horizontal and vertical)

Note that the full numbers of background acquisitions are only acquired once per
experiment. These backgrounds are stored in the noflowvertical measurements.

Structure of HDF containers
The HDF containers have the following datasets:

background: containing images without any illumination

images: images with excitation

logs: logfile of the experiment

The experimental parameters are saved as attributes to the image dataset.
Note that the dimension of an attribute can be called an attribute
[ATTRIBUTE}_dim.
