N6-methyladenosine (m6A) modification is the most prevalent chemical mark in mammalian mRNAs. Generally, m6A modification is deposited to RNAs by the m6A methyltransferase complex, including WTAP. Nevertheless, the explicit biological role of WTAP regulating the resistance to E. coli F18 infection in IPEC-J2 cell remains to be elucidated. Here, we performed a comparative transcriptome analysis in IPEC-J2 cells co-transfected with shWTAP or shCtrl vectors.
