This data set contains a selection of significant media mentions and features from across historic newspapers in Germany, France, Belgium, the US, Australia, Austria and Switzerland, of the French-Swiss Modernist architect Le Corbusier from 1921-1965. It was compiled as part of a project (The Rise of the Technocelebrity: The Politics Of Social Expertise In The Public Careers Of Le Corbusier And Walter Gropius) in order to explore the relation of experts and celebrity in the 20th century through the cases of two exemplary architects, Le Corbusier and Walter Gropius.
