资源简介:
The data presented relate to the article entitled: "Development of Chimeric Multivalent Proteins for Serological Diagnosis of African Animal Trypanosomosis." This study developed chimeric proteins for the serological diagnosis of African Animal Trypanosomosis (AAT), composed of immunoreactive regions from multiple known antigens, using genetic engineering. After identifying candidate antigens, we selected specific ones using bioinformatics and designed five chimeric constructs in silico: three species-specific and two pan-trypanosome chimeras. The 3D structures of the five chimeras were predicted using AlphaFold2 Colab. The coding sequences of these chimeras were synthesized, cloned into expression vectors, expressed, purified, and preliminarily evaluated using sera from infected and non-infected animals.
