Laboratory tests on samples collected at Brumadinho dam

This dataset comprises a set of triaxial tests on specimens prepared with iron tailings collected at the failure surface after the collapse of the Tailings Dam 1 of the Feijão Mine in Brumadinho (Minas Gerais, Brazil). The tests’ interpretation is published by Delgado et al. (2025) contributing to the best geotechnical engineering practices for tailings storage facilities, namely for the Engineering of Record.
