This series was used by the Shire Poundkeeper to record information about animals impounded. Information recorded included the date of impounding, particulars of animals impounded, by whom impounded, reason for the beasts' impoundment, how disposed of and signature of the purchaser or of the owner. This series was transferred to PROV by the University of Melbourne Archives which originally received it as part of the E.J. Semmens Collection.
