ChromoDB Source Data: Chromosome counts from Lagascalia

This dataset contains chromosome number counts for plant species extracted from the journal Lagascalia. It is part of the ChromoDB project, an initiative to build a global, curated, and open database of plant chromosome numbers. Scope of this version: This dataset (v1.0) exclusively contains counts from the dedicated "Números cromosómicos para la Flora Española" series published in Lagascalia. Data from other articles within the same journal will be included in a future version. The data is provided in two related CSV files, structured in a normalized format for ease of use and maintenance.----------------- Changes in version [new version number, e.g., v1.1] This minor version updates the dataset with the following corrections and improvements: Scientific names: All scientific names have been formally reviewed and standardized to ensure consistency and correct spelling. Bibliography: The format of all bibliographic citations has been unified to follow a consistent style. Counts: Count data that were omitted in the previous version have been added. The fundamental data and the main structure of the dataset have not changed.Note: The README file present in v1.0 was inadvertently omitted from this release (v1.1). Please refer to v1.0 for the README until v1.2 includes it again.
