FABEST High-Cycle Fatigue Competition: Participant Package for Blind Fatigue-Life Prediction

This Zenodo record contains the public participant package for the FABEST High-Cycle Fatigue (HCF) Competition, a blind round-robin benchmark for fatigue-life prediction of 42CrMo4+QT steel under multiaxial high-cycle fatigue loading. Participants are asked to submit fatigue-life predictions for plain and notched hollow cylindrical specimens subjected to combined axial and torsional loading, including in-phase and 90° out-of-phase loading histories, with constant internal pressure. The package includes the competition rules, start-here guide, experimental basis, calibration data, public blind load matrix, specimen geometry information, manufacturing documentation, roughness and residual-stress characterisation, test setup and test-sequence descriptions, and participant submission templates. All files are provided as zipped folders to preserve the folder structure of the competition package.
