DNA methylation analysis of 17 pairs of UCEC and adjacent tissues

A total of 17 pairs of UCEC and adjacent tissues were collected from patients who underwent surgical resection at Qilu Hospital of Shandong University (Qingdao) from December 2021 to March 2023. None of patients received hormone therapy, intrauterine devices, chemotherapy or radiotherapy for at least 6 months prior to surgery. DNA methylation levels were assessed by MethylTarget (Genesky Biotech. Inc., Shanghai, China), a method targeting CpG islands methylation analysis based on a next-generation sequencing. After bisulfite conversion, multiplex PCR was performed with the primer panel and the amplification products from the same genomic DNA were mixed in equal proportions. Each sample was added specific labels and purified for sequencing on the Illumina Hiseq platform in 2*150 bp double-ended mode to obtain FastQ data.
