Eight pollen samples were examined from backhoe trenches located in Laie,
Oahu. Pollen analysis was conducted in conjunction with archaeological
excavations. This analysis was undertaken to establish a record of general
prehistoric vegetation that may have been related to agriculture and/or
habitation in this area.
