GPCR19 pathway has been implicated in regulating various inflammation. However, the exact mechanism of immune regulation by GPCR19 pathway has not been elucidated in detail. Here, we report that intravenous infusion of a GPCR19 agonist, sodium taurodeoxycholate (STDC), decreases serum pro-inflammatory cytokines, normalizes hypotension, protects against renal injury and prolongs mice survival during sepsis. Overall design: Eight- to 12-week-old female mice were used for the experiments. Gr1- cells and Gr1+ cells were purified by MACS (Miltenyi Biotec). Total RNA was extracted from the cells using an RNeasy Mini kit according to the manufacturer’s instructions (QIAGEN).
