Social Media Rumor Dataset

The data consists of two real social media rumor datasets: PHEME and Weibo. The PHEME dataset includes a collection of rumors and non-rumors posted on Twitter during five breaking news events, namely the Charlie Hebdo shooting, Ferguson riots, Germanwings plane crash, and Ottawa shooting. The Weibo dataset is a Chinese rumor dataset obtained from the Sina Weibo platform's misinformation reporting system, containing rumors and non-rumors from various domains such as health, politics, finance, and more.
