Leishmania major strain:MRHO/IR/75/ER Raw sequence reads
收藏资源简介:
This study focuses on the whole-genome sequencing of the Iranian strain Leishmania major MRHO/IR/75/ER to provide a comprehensive genetic characterization of this important parasite. L. major is a primary causative agent of cutaneous leishmaniasis, a neglected tropical disease endemic in Iran and several other regions. By analyzing the complete genome sequence, this research aims to identify key genetic variations such as single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs), insertions and deletions (INDELs), and copy number variations (CNVs) that may contribute to virulence, drug resistance, and adaptation to the host environment. The findings will enhance our understanding of L. major biology, facilitate the development of improved diagnostics, treatments, and vaccines, and provide valuable insights for epidemiological studies and disease control strategies.
