Integrated multi-omic analyses of the genomic modifications by 5-(4′-Hydroxyphenyl)-γ-valerolactone metabolites in TNFalpha-stimulated primary human brain microvascular endothelial cells. We exposed human brain microvascular endothelial cells to mixture of 2 metabolites of 5-(4′-Hydroxyphenyl)-γ-valerolactone after they have been exposed to TNF. Total RNA has been extracted and expression of mRNA, miRNas, snoRNAs and lncRNAs has been obtained using microarrays. Overall design: Primary human microvascular cells were acquired from Lonza. The cells, at the passage 5, were exposed to TNF for 4 hours, or without TNF for negative control. Following the TNF traitement, the cells were exposed to the mixture of gut metabolites for 20h. The metabolites were 5-(4′-Hydroxyphenyl)-γ-valerolactone-3′-sulfate (γVL3′G) and 5-(4′-Hydroxyphenyl)-γ-valerolactone-3′-O-glucuronide (γVL3′S)
