Surface displacement of a destabilized rock glacier: high resolution records from an autonomous UAV docking station
收藏资源简介:
This dataset is based on sixteen Uncrewed Aircraft Vehicle (UAV) surveys of the Tsarmine rock glacier in Switzerland, collected weekly in summer 2025 using an autonomous UAV docking station. The final Structure from Motion (SfM) products consist of a series of orthoimages (OI) with a resolution of 2 cm, high-density point clouds (PC), Digital Elevation Models (DEM) with a resolution of 6 cm, and hillshades (HS) of the rock glacier surface and its surroundings. Detailed processing reports (REP) of each UAV survey are also included. These products can be used to further quantify 3D surface displacements using pipeline based on a Python code available at: Gitlab repository: ENAC CHANGE RockGlacierDIC The outcomes of the DIC processing are stored in the compressed archive folder entitled 'OUTPUTS.zip'. This comprises three 'runs' of the pipeline incorporating the weekly measurement of movement of the Tsarmine rock glacier, analysis of the stable zone, and analysis of same-day repeated UAV surveys. The GNSS data used for validation is also stored in the GNSS.zip folder. The vertices of the shapes used during processing in pixel coordinates are stored in the OUTLINE.zip folder.
