Trypanosoma brucei transcriptome of metacyclics transforming into bloodstream forms. Trypanosoma brucei strain:Lister 427

We previously established an in vitro differentiation system based on the inducible expression of the RNA binding protein 6 (RBP6), which initiated developmental progression of Trypanosoma brucei non-infectious procyclics to infectious metacyclics. Mutant RBP6 generates metacyclics capable of transforming into bloodstream forms. Here we monitored transcript abundance by RNA-Seq of the transformation from metacyclics to bloodstream forms.
