CPT2 knockdown induced accumulation of glycerophospholipids and promoted CRC progression. We conducted transcriptomic sequencing of CPT2-knockdown HCT116 CRC cells to explore the underlying mechanism. Overall design: HCT116 cells in the logarithmic growth phase were treated with either negative control siRNA (NC) or siCPT2 for 48 hours. The cells were collected, washed three times with PBS, and lysed with 1 mL of TRIzol for 5 minutes on ice. The samples were preserved on dry ice and sent to Biomarker Technologies for high-throughput sequencing.
