Data for: Evidence of Compounded Disturbance Effects on Vegetation Recovery Following High-Severity Wildfire and Spruce Beetle Outbreak

This dataset was used for analysis in the paper, "Evidence of compounded disturbance effects on vegetation recovery following high-severity wildfire and spruce beetle outbreak". The purpose of the data collection was to determine a suitable Landsat-derived vegetation index to estimate canopy change from spruce beetle outbreak. The dataset "Validation Plots Summary Table.csv" contains index values, live/dead basal area, and site attributes for 58 20x20 m field plots. The supplementary metadata file contains information on data collection and field values in the dataset.
