THEORETICAL-METHODOLOGICAL APPROXIMATIONS OF THE REPERTORY GRID MODEL IN THE RURAL CONTEXT TO ENCOURAGE THE CRITICAL READING PROCESS

This research aims to reduce the educational gaps between rural and urban contexts,
a real challenge in education. The objective is to propose theoretical and methodological approximations of the repertory grid model in the rural context in order to encourage the critical reading process in intermediary education students. The theoretical basis are Cassany
(2009), who contributes with writing ideology management; Cázarez (2006), who avails in pro
of critical reading; Sánchez (2010), regarding communicative competence; and Murillo (2009),
claiming that discourse must be observed as a social act. The study will follow a qualitative
approach to interpret and understand the reality.
