To more effectively manage product turnover and formulate more targeted product marketing strategies for chain supermarkets across Taizhou, this study establishes a statistical analysis framework for quarterly oral care suppliers using statistical model-based ranking and clustering methods, and develops supplier tags to identify key suppliers, understand their supply capabilities and market popularity, thereby providing data support for formulating marketing strategies, enhancing customer satisfaction and market competitiveness. 1. Data Collection: Record the monthly sales volume and sales revenue of oral care products across the supermarkets. 2. Data Processing: Utilize statistical model-based ranking and clustering methods to analyze the sales amount and total sales revenue of quarterly oral care suppliers. Calculate the proportion of each supplier's sales amount in the total product sales as follows: Supplier's sales proportion = (Quarterly total sales amount of the supplier / Quarterly total sales amount of oral care products) × 100%. 3. Data Classification: Rank suppliers in descending order based on the proportion of their supplied products' consumption amount in the total amount of the oral care product category. Adopt the ABCDEF classification method for supplier tiering: - Suppliers with a proportion ≥ 20% are classified as "Class A Suppliers"; - Suppliers with a proportion between 15% (inclusive) and 20% (exclusive) are classified as "Class B Suppliers"; - Suppliers with a proportion between 10% (inclusive) and 15% (exclusive) are classified as "Class C Suppliers"; - Suppliers with a proportion between 5% (inclusive) and 10% (exclusive) are classified as "Class D Suppliers"; - Suppliers with a proportion between 1% (inclusive) and 5% (exclusive) are classified as "Class E Suppliers"; - Suppliers with a proportion < 1% are classified as "Class F Suppliers". 4.
