Whole genome shotgun (WGS) sequencing of Drosophila mojavensis. Drosophila mojavensis strain:TSC#15081-1352.22

The Drosophila mojavensis genome was sequenced to 8-fold coverage by Agencourt Bioscience Corporation. The Drosophila mojavensis whole genome shotgun (WGS) project has the project accession AAPU00000000. This version of the project (01) has the accession number AAPU01000000, and consists of sequences AAPU01000001-AAPU01011884. Multiple D. mojavensis genome assemblies have been generated and a list of these can be found here. These alternate assemblies were combined and reconciled into the official (CAF1) assembly (AAPU00000000). The assembly was annotated using several automated gene prediction programs, and the results were combined into a consensus GLEAN set (Drosophila 12 Genomes Consortium 2007).
